FMCA RALLY

We moved on to St Paul on Sunday the 13th and followed the directions to the FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association) rally. It only took a few minutes to get parked. That evening we hopped a tram with Al and Shirley Ludeking from Decorah and watched the free line and square dance lessons.

The rally was held at the St. Paul fairgrounds which had pretty flowers. There were 2400 motorhomes spread out everywhere. We attended many seminars and several taught by the "Geeks on Tour" http://www.geeksontour.com/. We learned a lot more about computers. Shirley & Toni went on a "gangster tour" which included a "speakeasy" in the Wabash St. Caves, where they've seen ghosts, and the Landmark Center where several of them were sentenced in the courtrooms. Included were John Dillenger's girlfriend, and my personal favorite, Creepy Karpis.

We saw the Brett Family from Branson perform one evening and went to dinner twice with Al & Shirley, along with going to see the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

On Thursday Mary and Jim Weingartner visited and we showed them around and went to dinner. Jim especially enjoyed the $1 & 2,000,000 Prevost Coaches and the Country Coach's with verandas. It was a fun week!
