We waited a few days in Minneapolis because of the flooding in Decorah, and even worse in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, where Don's cousin Pam, lost her house. We visited Al and Shirley Ludeking who had a basement full of water and had to evacuate, and Willie and Karen Brown, who also had some water in their basement. We enjoyed going out to eat with both couples. Don of course, went to coffee twice a day and visited the office several times. He's happy that he doesn't have to worry about flood claims! Our "after the fact" pictures are of a flooded field near where Highway 52 was closed, and Dunning Springs, with water still pouring out.
