REDDING, CA TO MEDFORD, OR

Because of snow in the mountains, we were unable to leave on Wednesday, so that evening Don played in a poker tournament and came in first of 33 people. He was pretty excited since he won $400 and $300 prior. At least it's a start on the car repair bill! We left Thursday morning and drove toward Medford, going by Mt. Shasta.

We drove through an area that would have required chains the day before, and then it changed to nice green mountains.

We made it into Oregon and the scenery was beautiful.
