ON TO REDDING

We got to Redding on Sunday afternoon and had some car trouble. Yesterday we found out it needed a new water pump, hoses and thermostat. We ended up renting a car for a day and Don is picking up ours now. Yesterday, we took a drive up north to Shasta Lake, which winds around for 35 miles.

Well, I'm not sure what this is-did an ice fisherman procrastinate removing his shack or did some nice guy build a restroom on the water for all the women in the area? What do you think?

What amazed me is the color of the water-it's a dark aqua to green.

It's interesting to see the differences in the trees. Along here there's a variety of types and colors and no one sent them the memo to grow to the same heighth.
