FROM BARSTOW TO TULARE
We moved on from Barstow and watched the surroundings change frequently. We started on flat land with sporadic wild flowers.
When we went by Boron, we passed the borax plant.
We continued on into the hills that were topped with hundreds of windmills.
Then it looked like desert again.
