THE EISENHOWER FARM
The same day we took a tour of Ike and Mamie's farm near the battleground. Mamie was excited to finally get her own home, after living in 40 around the world, but never theirs. She decorated the house in a "homey, comfortable fashion", but it's now like walking back in time. It reminded me of Elvis' house! The grounds include several barns besides the main barn, a greenhouse, guest house, and a playhouse.
