BRISTOL, RHODE ISLAND

As I said, Carol took us on a tour of her town. Here are just a few pictures of what she showed us. This park has been created on the land given to the town from Mr. Colt, of Colt revolver fame. This is part of the beach.

This was his barn-not like the average Iowa barn!

She showed us her favorite bridge on the land-for good reason. This is where Dick asked her to marry him, on a visit to meet his family. She proclaimed that she would never live in Rhode Island-well, almost 50 years later, you see where she is!

This is the Colt Mansion down town.
