Yesterday, we went back to Portland so I could do some research on my grandfather's brother's family. They have newspapers on microfilm from all over the state, and after years of searching, I finally got the newspaper article and obituaries of the family murder. Many questions answered. Add to that, a stop at an awesome scrapbook store, I was a happy gal! Today, will be a travel day, heading toward Seaside and Astoria, back on the Pacific coast, before going into Washington.
