SILVER FALLS STATE PARK

We drove to Silverton and checked out part of Silver Falls State Park. There are ten falls in the park, but as usual, it was raining off and on, so we only saw a couple. It was about.o2 of a mile to the Upper North Falls-this was on the path along the way.

There's moss everywhere. Here's an example.

Upper North Falls.

I imagine these wild flowers have a name, but they looked like yellow violets.

We could see the North Falls from the road. The path was muddy and the rocks were slick, so we decided to give up rather than fall.
