PUGET SOUND NAVY BASE & MUSEUM

The Navy base in Bremerton is huge and is along Puget Sound where ships are able to come and go easily and come for repairs. It's next door to the museum, so I got a few pictures.

The museum used to be the Admiral's house, but it was moved just off the base.

This display tells how many ships were serviced at the base during WWII.

This picture shows them launching a ship.

The Stennis is based there and they have an exhibit about it, showing what a ship is like. It was interesting to see how many thousands of meals are served in a day on a ship, how much laundry is done, etc.

The museum shows what important work is done on the base and in the Navy-Don was smiling!
