SHORE ACRES STATE PARK

A lumber baron named Simpson built his mansion on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Afire in 1921 destroyed it and he attempted to rebuild but ran out of finances. Eventually he gave it to the state for a park. This is the view they had from the mansion.

The rocks at the base of the cliff are kind of bumpy-different from other areas.

There were some wild waves down there.

It was a lovely place.
