MOES REUNION

We had our Moes reunion at the Presentation Sisters' Convent in Dubuque where two of our cousins live, Sr. Delores and Sr. Jocile. We were sad to hear that Sr. Jocile had a stroke on Wednesday morning, but the good news was that she was making progress. We missed her and send her prayers and good wishes! Below is a picture of the convent, which was a perfect place for a reunion.

On Saturday, we had dinner for about 69 family members, some from as far away as Rhode Island and California. We were greeted by Sr. Delores, who suggested we each tell a little bit about ourselves. I gave a slide presentation on our ancestors and where they came from in Luxembourg, since we had recently been to the Moes villages. It seemed like everyone enjoyed meeting and speaking to other families.

On Sunday morning, we were met by some relatives???

We attended Mass in the Chapel and enjoyed a tasty brunch.

We had a nice chat with Steve Moes, Denny Mulqueen, and Trish and Bob Mulqueen before leaving.

Sr. Delores helping the Holmes family leaving for Minneapolis. Hopefully everyone had a good time!

Aren't family reunions great?!! It looks like you have quite a group. What a special place to have it.
