RETURN TO DECORAH

Yesterday we headed to Decorah, up the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi. In Dickeyville, WI, we passed the Dugout, which was our first stop on our honeymoon. The restaurant has been closed for years, but now is being remodeled. Don was feeling nostalgic, and wanted me to take a picture. (It's about as romantic as Mulert gets!)

The brick building is the newly restored Potosi Brewing Company and National Brewing Museum in Potosi, WI-we didn't take time to stop, but will some day.

For all you people who don't live in the midwest, we included pictures of a soybean field and tassled corn. (Right now the sweetcorn is delicious!)

Across the Mississippi, we returned to bluff country in Marquette, IA.

We just had to add a picture of Postville, currently famous for the raid on the Hispanics at Agri-Processors.

We made it back to Decorah and will take care of Dr's. appointments and see friends.
