Jake is a senior this year and is the center for the Burke Bulldogs, which have had a great year so far. We missed the first two games-they won the first and lost the second. They've won the four games we've seen, last week in overtime. Jake, as usual, has left a few guys wiped out on the field-a pretty strong fella! He's especially proud of wrecking two homecomings-what a guy! There are three more games and maybe playoffs, since they're currently rated fifth in the state. This Friday is homecoming-hopefully his won't be spoiled. Here he's about to snap the ball. (#55 in white)
After the first offensive possession, Jake meets with the offensive line coach, and tells him what the defensive line did. It's his job to watch them. Here he's reporting.
I don't see him dressed up very often, so I snapped a quick one at a volleyball game on team dinner day.
