It looked rather dreary when we left El Paso-the traffic didn't help.
These highways always amaze me. People from small towns must really be freaked out. They measure the size of a town by the number of stop lights-how would they count these?
Later we passed miles and miles of dairy cattle-very exciting!
I guess we looked harmless, we got waved through the check point.
We finally went through one of my favorite areas where rocks are piled like someone did it. Mother nature is sure smart!

Glad to see you are back on the road. I was worried about you two and the storm that blew through there. Those pictures are all familiar sights as we do that route at least once a year. Hope you reach your destination soon. Another storm is brewing in CA.
I also think the rock formations in Arizona are cool. Hope your RV didn't try to blow away-heard that some areas had 70 mph winds. Yes we are more than ready to head south-Jerry moved snow from 6:30 until 2:30 today. He had to walk across the road to the shop to get the skid loader out since pickup and car were both drifted in. He said it was so cold that he walked most of the way backwards so he wasn't walking into the cold wind. We're not counting but only 18 more days until we head south. Kathy
